Jasper Delivers flagship AA Insurance Assessment & Repair Centre at 482 Rosebank Road

Jasper has completed the transformation of 482 Rosebank Road, delivering a high-performance operational hub for AA Insurance and Drive Group in one of Auckland’s most sought-after industrial precincts.

Jasper originally acquired the site with a clear objective: unlock the value of a tired but fundamentally sound building and reposition it as a modern, purpose built facility for a national occupier. The result is a flagship collision assessment and repair centre designed around AA Insurance’s real world workflow, customer experience, and long term operational needs.

Understanding the Operational Model Up Front

Before committing to design changes, Jasper spent time with AA Insurance to understand how the facility needed to operate day-to-day; vehicle movement patterns, assessment and repair workflow, customer interaction points, and the level of flexibility needed for future expansion.

This insight shaped the redevelopment plan, ensuring each upgrade was practical, necessary, and aligned with how AA Insurance actually delivers services on site.

Upgrades Focused on Performance and Longevity

The redevelopment program was structured around improving efficiency and usability:

• Internal reconfiguration to create a more efficient workshop environment supporting high vehicle throughput.
• Removal of redundant services and structural and roof upgrades to extend the asset’s useful life.
• Reworked external areas to improve circulation, traffic flow, and customer access.
• A new office and customer hub, including open-plan workspace, meeting rooms, and a branded reception space designed for clarity and ease of use.

Each element was delivered with an emphasis on long-term functionality.

A Collaborative, Delivery-Focused Approach

Jasper managed the project from acquisition through to completion, coordinating design, construction, and stakeholder engagement. Scarborough Group’s James McQuaid led the project delivery and brought significant construction management expertise to deliver a quality product.

Working closely with AA Insurance throughout the process ensured decisions remained grounded in operational reality. The outcome is a streamlined, future-ready facility that supports AA Insurance’s service model and improves the customer experience.
